in arusha
i'm in arusha for two days, don't have my notebook with me now, but will post journal entries later. the past week, i've been on the tanzanian coast doing marine biology data collection by snorkeling on maziwe (protected reef) and funguzinga (unprotected reef). it was like being in the caribbean. starting to realize that east africa has extremely diverse geographic features. these two days are free days, so the plan is that we go out to a movie tonight, then tomorrow morning some of us are attending the rwandan genocide tribunal. there is also supposed to be a tanzanian circus in town, which is supposed to be really good, so we're aiming to do that, too. currently rooming with five other people in a 3 bed room. it's a bit cramped, but cheap as heck. but, like i said, i will post more later.
